Requirements :

MBCHB Degree. Registered as an Independent Medical Practitioner with HPCSA. must have primary exams, having intermediates exams is not mandated but will serve as an advantage.

 

Duties :

Successful candidates will be responsible for the rendering of clinical services Perform duties according to guidelines from the department of Urology, which includes after-hours work (weekdays and weekends).

Patient management and full time clinical and surgical service, including rotation through other teaching hospitals provision within the Urology department. Participate in the department ‘s academic program and research activities.

Ability to work within a team of health care professionals with integrity and respect. Dedicated to patient care and quality health care service. A good track record of fostering teamwork and collaborations with among physicians.

Requirements :

Grade 12 and Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Registration certificate with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP). Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license. Current registration with SACSSP.

 

Duties :

Render social work services regarding care, support, protection, development of vulnerable individuals groups, families, group and communities through relevant social work programmes. Attend to any other matters that could result in or stem from social stability in any form.

Keep up to date with new developments in social work and social welfare fields. Engage in conditions professional development activities as prescribed. Perform all the administrative functions required of the job. Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and ward rounds to give advice in matter related to social work issues. Compile stats, reports and be prepared to work in different areas of the hospital, including the psychiatric unit as per rotation cycle and when allocated.
