Job Description

To grow and develop the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance through prospecting, canvassing, and selling personal and commercial lines in the tied agent model.

Requirements

  • Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate.
  • Must have your own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access.
  • Valid code B driver’s license.
  • 3 years of external sales experience in a face-to-face selling environment.
  • Experience in lead generation, cold calling, and relationship management.
  • For FAIS representatives: Appropriate FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications and RE5.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical/numerical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow and develop the business insurance portfolio through proactive sales activities.
  • Build a sustainable book of short-term insurance business.
  • Sell both personal lines and commercial lines insurance products.
  • Prospect and canvass for new business through various channels.
  • Generate leads, make cold calls, and manage customer relationships.
  • Work independently to open doors and create new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
